Well, phew, it’s been a busy summer and we’re only half through. Although I’m sure like everyone working in a non air con office, we are seriously wilting like a student’s token plant in their smelly bedroom!

Not to be stopped by the scary realisation that global warming is well under way (no matter what Jeremy Clarkson says) Blowback has been up and down the country partying with the best of them. Having taken in Glade, Futuresonic, Tales of the Jackalope, Truck and most recently Lovebox and the Studio Artois nights in London, we’re getting used to living out of a bag from one weekend to the next and are slowly turning a dirty shade of brown. Very slowly mind. The Longcut rocked the Kill All Hippies tent at Lovebox whilst Rodney P and DJ Spinna dealt out some serious hot in here action in the 55DSL tent. Chilling out to an outdoor screening of Ferris Bueller was probably the best Sunday evening idea ever as Stella showed off their very large screen in Greenwich park! We need more outdoor cinemas! And if you missed bumping into us on the waltzer after one shandy too many then you can catch the best live tracks of the last month on our new free podcast!

Follow the details on the site. So now it’s Friday afternoon and we’re looking forward to a weekend of parks, picnics, trying not to burn in the hot English glare before the festivals resume next weekend, come one, come all and come on!!
